Achievement overview
Shape of Dreams features achievements tied to each Traveler, difficulty milestones, Limbo completion, and secret challenges. Most achievements unlock during normal gameplay as you progress through difficulties and experiment with different builds. Some require specific conditions that are not immediately obvious.
Unlocking Bismuth: Once Upon a Time
To unlock Bismuth, you must keep any Traveler movement speed above 900 for 3 seconds. The easiest method is to use Mist, who starts with 520 base speed and has the Light as a Feather passive that grants up to 12 percent additional speed. Pick up the Corrosive Trails memory (15 percent speed for 3 seconds) or Immolation memory (20 percent speed for 3.5 seconds). Stack speed Essences and use Immolation followed by Corrosive Trails to reach the threshold. If you find the Star Sky location, look for an area where time flows faster, which grants 35 percent movement speed.
Difficulty achievements
Clearing runs on each difficulty tier unlocks achievements. Start on Nap to build up meta upgrades, then progress through Deep Sleep and Ominous Dream before attempting Nightmare. Nightmare achievements are the most challenging and often require optimized builds. You do not need to use the same Traveler for all difficulty achievements.
Limbo achievements
Limbo is the endgame dungeon with six increasingly difficult floors. Completing each floor unlocks an achievement. Limbo 6 is the hardest challenge in the game and requires deep knowledge of Essence synergies, Deja Vu choices, and Star penalties. Plan your build around a specific Traveler strength and stack defensive Essences for survivability.
Traveler-specific achievements
Each Traveler has unique achievements tied to their kit. These typically involve using their signature abilities in specific ways, such as healing a certain total amount with Aurena or landing a set number of critical strikes with Lacerta. Play each Traveler across multiple runs to naturally progress toward these achievements.
